Foreword

Since its onset five months ago (August 2018), this experiment has taken a toll on nearly every aspect of my life. Fortunately, it is manageable without any medication so far, thanks to early diagnosis.

Like all things, bipolar disorder is a choice, but most patients do not realize this because the agreements are invisible. Recovery requires understanding their causes, meaning and purpose.

In this case, bipolar disorder was triggered for research — amongst other reasons. Kudos to all who are contributing to bipolar disorder research. So much courage is required indeed.
